# Welcome!

Welcome to Skyblock! The purpose of this long-standing gamemode is to survive in a void world on a floating island. There are many goals to achieve in Skyblock, including climbing the way to the top of the balance leaderboards or building your island up to be ranked amongst the top in the server.

If you have any questions, feel free to join our [Discord](https://minesuperior-skyblock.gitbook.io/home/www.discord.gg/minesuperior) server. To access the Skyblock-specific category, go to the [**#roles**](https://discord.com/channels/989561518343471125/992237893395427439) channel and use the menu. From there, you can access the suggestion and trade channels as well as interact with your peers in the server-specific channels.

SkyBlock's native version is 1.19.2. However, you can join using any version between 1.17-1.19.3
